  • Was I surprised by anything that came forward in today’s session?

  • Did I find myself wanting to talk more about something?

  • Did I find myself wanting to talk less about something?

  • Did anything really resonate with me?

  • Was anything hard?

  • Was anything rewarding?

  • Were there patterns/themes/words that stood out?

  • Do I feel any tension or relief in my body? Where?

  • Do I notice a shift in my mood or perspective?

  • Do I notice myself wanting to avoid certain content or feelings?

  • What are 1-3 words that describe my emotional experience post-session?

  • What will I challenge myself to reflect on between now and next session?

  • Is there anything I want my current self to write down for my future self to remember?

  • How am I feeling about working with my therapist?

  • Is there anything I want to ask my therapist, remind my therapist, or tell them about how my experience is going? (Remember: nothing is off limits! You can ask or tell your therapist anything.)

  • Is there something I want to continue to explore or start to explore in future sessions?

    Revisit your reflections throughout the week. I encourage you to share anything that stands out to you or feels generally supportive of your overall therapy goals.
